GPS coordinates, title, description, author and copyright are written into JPEG EXIF. The export replaces old metadata, flattens transparency onto white and resizes the longest side to at most 2,400 px. Keep your original.
Only use a location you are entitled to share. Public GPS metadata can reveal where an image was taken. Geotagging alone is not a proven ranking boost; platforms may remove metadata. Some legacy EXIF text fields support plain Latin characters only.
